COVID-19 Protocols updated for winter, 2021

Dear Guests,

We welcome you to the Cliff Ranch this winter and hope it can serve as an adventurous and joyous reprieve. The ranch provides friends and family an opportunity for a modified lockdown and isolation in a remote area with very few other people.

We at The Cliff Ranch recognize the severity of Covid-19, and safety for guests and staff is our number one priority. As such the following protocols will be in place:

  • Ranch staff and guests are required to wear masks at all times in public indoor spaces.

  • Ranch staff and guests are required to wear masks outdoors when proper social distancing is not possible. Please always have your mask on hand!

  • It is mandatory that all guests and staff disclose ANY symptoms of illness they have experienced over the 14 days prior to arrival at the ranch.  If there is any potential that a guest or staff member has recently exhibited symptoms of Covid-19, they should remain in isolation and defer their visit.  Further, if someone in your group or close in contact has tested positive for Covid-19, additional precautions will be taken to ensure that your group is not bringing the virus to the ranch.

  • The Cliff Ranch is diligent about cleaning highly trafficked and frequently touched surfaces (door handles, light switches, recreational equipment etc.). A deep clean of all surfaces will be conducted between weekly guest visits. There will be a three day period of no occupancy between each guest stay.

  • In the event that while staying at the ranch a guest begins to exhibit ANY symptoms associated with Covid-19 they will need to quarantine immediately. If symptoms last more than 2 days, they will remain in quarantine for the remainder of their stay or arrange for immediate transportation home.

  • Basic precautions like hand washing/sanitizing, covering sneezes and coughs, avoiding touching face, and social distancing are emphasized with all guests.

The health and safety of our guests and staff is of utmost importance. This winter, The Cliff Ranch offers an opportunity to extend your home into nature and to rediscover both stability and adventure during this unprecedented time.
