The Cliff Ranch is currently hiring for our 2025 guest season (June-September)

Our seasonal ranch crew is the heartbeat to our operation - not only keeping things running smoothly, but also bringing exuberance and a strong sense of community to the ranch. Working at the Ranch is a unique opportunity to spend time in a magical setting, while also helping to craft unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Positions Available:

  • Assistant Caretakers (full-time, seasonal)

Assistant Caretakers

Seeking 2 Ranch caretakers to join our team this summer! Positions are ideal for a couple or friends who don’t mind sharing a space and spending the summer together. We are looking for highly competent folks who can take initiative on our small team to help ensure successful operations at the ranch.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Carry out weekly housekeeping and cleaning needs (making beds, cleaning bathrooms & kitchens, vacuuming & mopping, etc)

  • Assist with landscaping, maintenance and ranching needs

  • Support Managers in ensuring that the entire ranch is well maintained and guest ready

  • Respond to guest requests and maintain positive relationships with guests

  • Assist in maintaining trails

  • Provide guest transportation, running errands, etc.

  • During “guest weeks”

    • Support with meal services

    • Provide childcare and serve as “Kid Camp” leader

Expectations:

  • Experience and interest in hospitality  

  • Hard working and having a “yes” attitude is a must

  • Willingness to learn, try new things, and take initiative in leading tasks

  • Team player - we have a small team at Cliff Ranch and expect everyone to support one another and pitch in wherever needed

  • Comfortable providing coverage for Managers during scheduled time off

  • Must be able to lift heavy objects (50lb) 

  • Many days, work may be outside (expect to have some very hot days in the summer)

Job Details & Benefits:

  • June 1st - September 30th (exact dates flexible)

  • Salary starting at $20/hour

  • Full Time (40 hours/week) (Opportunity for time off during slow weeks)

  • Overtime compensation

  • Onsite housing provided
