Kid Buffalo Camp: a fun interactive camp for kids staying at the ranch.
We fully understand that happy kids = happy parents. Our Kid Buffalo Camp is designed first and foremost to be flexible. We know that on some days you will want to spend much of the day experiencing adventures with the kids but on other days its best for the younger set to have their own agenda.
Kid Buffalo Camp starts each weekday morning at Two Feathers Tipi— the kids’ home base for activities and crafts. Based on the group size and ages here are some of the activities that may be offered:
Animal tracking and identification
Nature hikes and scavenger hunts
Horseback riding (for children ages 6 and older) and grooming
Swimming and kayaking
Outdoor Painting
Nature journal with wild flower and plant collection pressing
Helping with dinner chores (yes, if you’d like we’ll put the kids to work and make it fun)
Feeding the goats
